I do love living in the United States......however there are things in this country that are SO FUCKED UP, I don't know where to start.
How about our wonderful child support system? I am an active parent. I'm involved in my childs life. I pay my child support and am current. Now, this is where things get interesting....The state I live in decided they would go ahead and clean out my bank account. Oh, yes, they can do that. I called and had a shit fit with the case worker. They took about $3000.00. It was a mistake. They shouldn't have done it. But they will not put the money back. Her response to my inquiries were....get this...SORRY. That's all she would say, other than the fact I could send in a formal complaint, she would deny it , and it would go to district court, where I would lose any way. What a FUCKED UP SYSTEM!!!
There's more, dear reader. They decided they would take my drivers license, all my state issued professional licenses, my hunting and fishing licenses, revoke my car license plates, and basiclly make it impossible to do anything. Now, where is the logic in this. First of all, remember me saying I am current on my support under the current order. Now, to go on, without any of the above licenses, how in the name of shit from a camel is one supposed to get to work to make a living to pay his support? Good question, huh? Another that child support recovery has failed to answer.
By the time the unsuing shit strom passed, I had accrued several thousand dollars worth of bad checks, something I have never done. I have had to pay to have my licenses reinstated, to the tune of a few more hundred dollars, not to mention the damage to my professional image.
What in the world is wrong with the people running this country?? I asked somebody at the state level how I could help fix an obviosly broken system and it was all put back on me. Dead beat dad?? I am not and would never be. I love my child and would never do anything to harm his well being. He should never have to suffer for any reason. Although being a teenager, he can sometimes be a handful, but then thinking back, so was I.
I must now go to work and try and make a living to keep current on my support and get dug out from under the HUGE freakin mess they left for me to clean up.
